Corinne Detain exhibition at Terrace Gallery

Mixed media Krowji artist Corinne Detain has an exhibition featuring recent works, including ones created during lockdown, at the Terrace Gallery in Penryn which runs until the 4th of October.

Corinne works in stitch, collage, acrylic, and printing, and produces works that consist of covering and washing back many layers to create a feeling of history and evoke a sense of calm. Mixed media allows her to build these layers, to destroy and repair. Her work is an emotional response to her surroundings that tells a subtle story and invites the viewer to bring their own interpretation and emotions forward. Inspired by personal life experiences, she tries to convey and evoke emotive response both in the work and within the viewer.

Visitors can see Corinne’s work at the Terrace Gallery from 12pm – 6pm, Thursday to Sunday.
