Enys: Ensow (plural), meaning Island
‘Island’ a non-profit exhibition at Enys house near Penryn, Cornwall will open with a private view on the 14th June. The exhibition will showcase the work of 20 emerging artists from around the UK. You will find artists of disciplines including; painting, print, drawings, installation and video. The organisers have created Island to encourage emerging artists to create opportunities and support each other, whilst working in a unique and inspiring space to put together an exciting exhibition.
The event is entirely artist-led and is being co-organised and curated by three painters all working from studios at Krowji Jasmine Mills, Lillian Thomson & Eleanor Lee. Taking place on 14th, 15th, 16th June at Enys House the event aims to create an opportunity for several artists, including another Krowji tenant taking part, Lesley Plumridge, to come together to create a show.
