Redruth celebrates market revival

The launch of a new monthly market made Redruth town centre a hub of activity last Saturday.

Redruth Town Council, Redruth & District Chamber of Commerce and Redruth Revival CIC have been working together to bring the vibrant markets to fruition.

As well as produce stalls with fudge, preserves and flowers visitors could find handmade crafts and exciting gifts. There were a few familiar faces at the market this month, with Krowji-based makers Merryn Rogers of Kernow Kei, Kate Richards of Love Betty and Sinead O’Connor of Sinead’s Silver Design all selling their handmade work.

The new Redruth Town Market will be held on the first Saturday of each month between 10am and 2pm.
