Nicola Bottono Featured in My Cornwall Magazine

Nicola Bottono featured in this months My Cornwall magazine with her beautiful jewellery. An insight into how Nicola found her creativity, the struggles and the inspiration behind her work.

“Metalwork is a discipline. You can experiment with techniques but the rules of constructing a piece remain the same. When soldering, many variables have to be observed to ensure seamless joints. Overheating a piece can result in watching several days of work melt before your eyes. There’s often swearing and sometimes tears. Not often these days, but definitely early in my career.”
