Doorstep, a creative community platform, was set up by two designers Emily and Charlotte with the aim of connecting creatives in Cornwall. They have been working together for the last two years, focusing on interactive spaces, workshops, public engagement and community participation. During the digital takeover of the Cornwall Design Forum, they will be questioning the role of design today and how practices overlap, as well as celebrating the creative community in which they work.
While many of Doorstep’s ideas, projects and events are hosted online, it is hoped that this takeover will allow a bigger audience to connect to their network, and will provide the opportunity to reach creatives from even the most rural spots on our peninsula in order to generate new ideas for Cornwall Design Forum’s future.
