Creative Kernow, based at Krowji, is the umbrella organisation for the following nine projects. Together we support the production, promotion and distribution of work by creative practitioners in Cornwall because we believe in creativity's transformative power and want more people to benefit from it.

Krowji Update on Covid-19 (Corona Virus)

**UPDATE 29/05/2020** As of 15/06/2020 Krowji Reception will re-open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, with adapted working practices to observe social distancing, but the site will only be open for our studio tenants, their clients and essential deliveries.

Public access to any areas of our buildings is still not permitted, in line with government guidance. If you have an enquiry please contact us via email [email protected] or by telephone once Reception re-opens on 15th June on 01209 313200.

As of 24/03/2020 Krowji is open for studio tenants for essential use only. Public access to any areas of our buildings is not permitted. If you have an enquiry please contact us via email [email protected].

The café at Krowji will remain closed, for scheduled renovations and the re-opening date will be subject to revision depending on government advice.

We are encouraging our tenants using the buildings to maintain a high standard of hygiene and to follow the NHS guidelines on how to avoid catching or spreading coronavirus. We are urging our tenants not to visit Krowji if feeling unwell or experiencing cold-like symptoms.

We are working hard to support our studio tenants at this difficult time. We are doing this by contacting tenants with details of grants, resources and schemes that may benefit them, continuing to keep our buildings running, including site administration, maintenance & cleaning. We are also lobbying Government collectively as members of the Creative Industries Federation (CIF) for support for freelancers and small creative organisations and contributing to and promoting the Baseline survey inviting creative freelancers, organisations and businesses to participate in a survey about the impact of Covid-19 on the creative and cultural sectors in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

For the latest statement from Creative Kernow on Covid-19 and how it will affect all of our projects, please visit our website.

“We are committed to slowing the spread of the Corona Virus and are monitoring Public Health England and Arts Council England advice to keep our employees, tenants, clients and partners safe and well. There will be some temporary changes to services provided by Creative Kernow but we are working hard to minimise disruption as much as possible.”
