Michael Harris

I did a graphics degree at Bath Academy of Art in the eighties and have made art for as long as I can remember. By a circuitous route I ended up making bespoke furniture for 20 years, before moving to Cornwall to attempt to establish an art practice in 2014.

I attended Newlyn School of Art for three years on their figure-based course, and, as a result, the human form has become the main focus of my work.

I exhibited as a member of Creftow Gallery collective in Helston until its closure in 2016, and have showed my work in Penzance at Circa 21 with colleagues from the Newlyn course, and at the Poly in Falmouth.
