Kate Aimers

I work both digitally and traditionally and always looking for ways to combine the two. My work is constantly inspired by folktales, stories and narrative and I am always looking for new ways to push my work and for it to take new forms. As a constantly evolving artist I try to always look for new marks, media and ways to push my work into new forms.

I love to use colour as a way to translate emotion and mood and enjoy making my own colour palettes whether that be on the iPad, in papers I use in book bindings or mixing paint for screenprinting!

I’m currently venturing into website design and ceramics to see how my work can fit into a 3D format and I have been loving the results!
